Twenty Knights came together to help uplift the communities in Sacramento at this year’s Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services Turkey Distribution. Knights arrived as early as 6AM in the cold morning to bring warmth to families in need. Our Knights worked as a team with the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services (SFBFS) to distribute frozen turkeys, canned goods, and other Thanksgiving fixings to families around the area. Many families expressed their gratitude for the dedication and service of SFBFS and the volunteers in providing full nutritious meals to be enjoyed. This event provided meals to over 4,000 families this year and remains the largest one-day turkey drive in Sacramento. We are grateful to have been a part of this meaningful act of service for our local communities in need!
